[Indications] This product is suitable for sensitive staphylococcus, streptococcus, streptococcus pneumoniae and anaerobe caused by respiratory tract infection, skin and soft tissue infection, female reproductive tract infection and pelvic infection and abdominal infection. In addition, this product can be used as an alternative medicine for patients with indications of penicillin use, such as patients allergic to penicillin or patients who should not use penicillin.

Usage and dosage Oral adult, 1.5 ~ 2g a day, divided into 3 ~ 4 times; Children daily 30 ~ 60mg/kg, divided 3 ~ 4 times oral, infants less than 4 weeks should not take. This product should be taken on an empty stomach.

1. Gastrointestinal reactions: common nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, etc. Severe cases include abdominal cramps, abdominal tenderness, severe diarrhea (watery or pus blood), accompanied by fever, abnormal thirst and fatigue (pseudomembranous enteritis). Diarrhea, enteritis, and pseudomembranous enteritis may occur early in the administration or several weeks after discontinuance. 2. Blood system: leukopenia, neutropenia, eosinophilia and thrombocytopenia may occasionally occur; Rare aplastic anemia. 3. Allergic reactions: rash and pruritus can be seen, urticaria, angioneurotic edema and serum disease reactions can be seen occasionally, and exudative dermatitis, bullous dermatitis, erythema multiforme and Stevens-Johnson syndrome are rare. 4 abnormal liver and renal function, such as serum aminotransferase elevation, jaundice, etc. 5 others: tinnitus, vertigo, candida infection, etc.

If there is no obvious improvement after the above treatment, metronidazole 250 ~ 500mg should be taken orally, 3 times a day. If relapsing, can use metronidazole oral still can be effective, still invalid when can change vancomycin (or go a vancomycin) oral, adult daily 0.5 ~ 2.0g, cent 3 ~ 4 times take. 7. Occasionally, it may lead to the overpropagation of insensitive microorganisms or secondary infection. Once the occurrence of secondary infection occurs, corresponding measures should be taken. 8. Use with caution if you have previous asthma or other allergies. 9. For the elderly, regular liver and kidney function tests and blood routine tests are required.

Anti-peristalsis and antidiarrheal drugs should not be used because they can delay the discharge of endotoxin from the colon, resulting in prolonged and aggravated diarrhea. When this product is used with antidiarrheal drugs containing white clay, the absorption of the former will be significantly reduced, so the two should not be taken at the same time, need a certain interval (at least 2 hours). 3 This product has a neuromuscular blocking effect, and when used in combination with anti-myasthenia drugs, the latter's effect on skeletal muscle will be weakened. In order to control the symptoms of myasthenia gravis, the dosage of anti-myasthenia drugs should be adjusted when combined. 4 Chloramphenicol or erythromycin can replace the product at the target site, or inhibit the combination of the latter with the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosome. In vitro test showed that the product has antagonistic effect with them, so the product is not suitable for use. 5 when combined with opioid analgesics, the respiratory depression of this product and the central respiratory depression of opioid may prolong respiratory depression or cause respiratory paralysis (apnea) due to the cumulative phenomenon, so the patient must be closely observed or monitored. This product may enhance the effects of neuromuscular blockers. The combination of the two should be avoided.

1 Pharmacology The antibacterial spectrum of this product is similar to erythromycin but narrower. It has high antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacteria such as staphylococcus (including penicillin-resistant strains), Streptococcus, diphtheria, bacillus anthracis, etc. It also has good antibacterial activity against gram-negative anaerobe. Bacteroides include Bacteroides fragile, Fusobacteria, gastrococcus, streptococcus digestae, and Bacillus perfringens, most of which are highly sensitive to this product. The gram-negative aerobe including Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria and mycoplasma were resistant to the drug. This product has no cross resistance to penicillin, chloramphenicol, cephalosporins and tetracycline, has partial cross resistance to macrolides and complete cross resistance to clindamycin. The mechanism of action of this product is to bind to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosome to prevent the elongation of peptide chain, thus inhibiting the protein synthesis of bacterial cells. This strain is bacteriostatic, but at high concentration, it also has bactericidal effect on some bacteria. 2 Toxicology The median lethal dose (LD50) of this product was 214mg/kg by intravenous injection and 4000mg/kg by oral administration in mice. The oral dosage of rats was 4000mg/kg.
