Indication:

1. Dyspepsia caused by delayed gastric emptying, gastroesophageal reflux and esophagitis.
-Abdominal distension and pain;
-Warm gas, flatulence;
-Nausea and vomiting;
-Gastric burning sensation with or without reflux gastric contents in the mouth.
2. Nausea and vomiting caused by functional, organic, infectious, dietary, radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Dopamine receptor agonists (such as levodopa, bromocriptine, etc.) are the specific indications for the treatment of nausea and vomiting caused by Parkinson's disease.

Usage and dosage:  Oral administration.

Adult: 3-4 times a day, 1 tablet each time. If necessary, double the dose or follow the doctor's advice.
Children (over 12 years old and over 35 kg): 3-4 times a day, 0.3 mg / kg body weight each time.
This product should be taken 15-30 minutes before meals, if taken after meals, absorption will be delayed.
The maximum daily dose is 80 mg.

Extrapyramidal symptoms are very rare in children, especially in adults. These symptoms can completely recover after drug withdrawal.
Other central nervous system related reactions, such as convulsions, excitement and drowsiness, are rare and are mainly reported in infants and children..

Taboo:

This product is prohibited in the following conditions:
·Known to be allergic to domperidone or any component of the product.
·Increased gastric motility can be dangerous when, for example, gastrointestinal bleeding, mechanical obstruction, perforation.
·A patient with pituitary tumor (prolactinoma) secreting prolactin.
·Combination of ketoconazole oral preparations, erythromycin or other CYP3A4 enzyme inhibitors that may prolong QTc interval, such as fluconazole, voriconazole, clarithromycin, amiodarone, thalamycin

Matters needing attention:

-This product contains lactose and may not be suitable for patients with lactose intolerance, galactosemia or impaired glucose / galactose absorption.
-When antacids or drugs inhibiting gastric acid secretion are combined with this product, the first two drugs should not be taken before meals, but after meals, that is, they should not be taken with this product at the same time.
-Because domperidone is mainly metabolized in the liver, patients with liver dysfunction are afraid to use it.
-The elimination half-life of domperidone in patients with severe renal insufficiency (serum creatinine > 6 mg / 100mL, i.e. > 0.6 mmol / L) increased from 7.4 hours to 20.8 hours, but its plasma concentration was lower than that in healthy volunteers. Because there are very few prototype drugs excreted through the kidney, it may not be necessary to adjust the dosage for patients with renal insufficiency. However, when repeated administration is required, the frequency of taking medicine should be reduced to 1-2 times a day according to the severity of renal impairment, and the dosage should be reduced at the same time. Such patients should be checked regularly when taking medicine for a long time.

Pregnant women: This product has limited experience in pregnant women. Its potential harm to human body is unclear. However, in a study with rats, domperidone showed reproductive toxicity at a higher dose (40 times the recommended dose for human body) to the mother. Therefore, for pregnant women, only after weighing the pros and cons, can we use this product cautiously.
Lactation: the concentration of domperidone in breast milk of lactating women is 10-50% of the corresponding plasma concentration, but the concentration in breast milk will not exceed 10NG / ml. The total amount of domperidone in breast milk of lactating women is less than 7ug / day when taking the most recommended dose of domperidone. It is not known whether it will cause harm to the newborn. Therefore, lactating women in the period of taking this product, it is recommended not to breast-feeding.
