Indication:
It can be used in patients with type II diabetes mellitus, especially those with obesity and hyperinsulinemia, who are not satisfied with simple diet control. For some patients with poor curative effect of sulfonylureas, such as combination with sulfonylureas, small intestinal glycosidase inhibitors or thiazolidinediones, the effect is better than single use. It can also be used in patients with insulin therapy to reduce the dosage of insulin.

Usage and dosage:Oral administration for adults starts with 0.25g, 2-3 times a day, and then increases gradually according to the curative effect, generally 1-1.5g per day, with a maximum of 2G per day. Taking it immediately during or after meals can reduce gastrointestinal reactions.

Adverse reactions
1. Common: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, metal smell in the mouth.
Sometimes there are fatigue, fatigue, dizziness and rash.
3. Although the incidence of lactic acidosis is very low, we should pay attention to it. Taboo:
The following should be disabled:
1. Type II diabetes is accompanied by ketoacidosis, liver and renal insufficiency (serum creatinine more than 1.5mg / dl), pulmonary insufficiency, heart failure, acute myocardial infarction, severe infection and trauma, major surgery, and clinical hypotension and hypoxia.
2. Diabetes complicated with serious chronic complications (such as diabetic nephropathy, diabetic fundus lesions).
3. Before foot vein pyelography or arteriography.
4. Alcoholics.
5. Patients with severe heart and lung diseases.
6. Patients with vitamin B12, folic acid and iron deficiency.
7. Patients with poor general condition (such as malnutrition and dehydration).

1. Type I diabetes should not be used alone (can be combined with insulin);
2. During medication, fasting blood glucose, urine glucose and urine ketone body were checked regularly, and serum creatinine and blood lactic acid concentrations were measured regularly.

4. Prevent hypoglycemia when combined with insulin.
