Ingredients

The main component is penicillin V potassium, whose chemical name is (2S, 5R, 6R) - 3,3-dimethyl-7-oxo-6 - (2-phenoxyacetylamino) - 4-thia-1-azabicyclo [3.2.0] - heptane-2-carboxylic acid potassium salt.

Indications

It is mainly applicable to tonsillitis, pharyngitis, scarlet fever, erysipelas, pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis, otitis media, skin and soft tissue infection, infective endocarditis

Usage.
Oral. Adult streptococcal infection: 125 ~ 250mg once every 6 ~ 8 hours for 10 days. Pneumococcal infection: 250 ~ 500mg once, once every 6 hours, and the course of treatment is at least 2 days after antipyretic. Staphylococcus infection and spirochete infection (fensen angina): 250 ~ 500mg once every 6 ~ 8 hours. Prevention of recurrence of rheumatic fever: 250mg once, twice a day. Prevention of endocarditis: take 2G of this product orally 1 hour before tooth extraction or upper respiratory surgery, and then take 1g after 6 hours (the dose for children under 27kg is halved). According to the weight of children, 2.5 ~ 9.3mg/kg once every 4 hours; Or 3.75 ~ 14mg / kg once every 6 hours; Or 5 ~ 18.7mg/kg at a time,

Adverse reactions

Possible allergic reactions include urticaria, angioneuroedema, erythema multiforme, exfoliative dermatitis, fever, joint pain, anaphylactic shock and allergic reactions (asthma, purpura, gastrointestinal symptoms). The above symptoms occur less frequently and are weaker than that of parenteral administration. Allergic reactions in patients with fungal diseases may be caused by the co allergenicity of skin fungal metabolites and penicillin. Gastrointestinal symptoms include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, bloating, and sometimes stomatitis and glossitis. If diarrhea occurs during treatment, it may be pseudomembranous enteritis (see Precautions). Abnormal eosinophilia in the blood system, positive Coombs' test, hemolytic anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia and agranulocytosis are very rare.
