Indications

Cloxacillin Sodium for injection is only suitable for the treatment of penicillinase producing Staphylococcus infection, including sepsis, endocarditis, pneumonia, skin and soft tissue infection. It can also be used for mixed infection caused by Streptococcus pyogenes or pneumococcus and penicillin resistant Staphylococcus

Usage.
1. Intramuscular injection was given to adults 2G per day, divided into 4 times, and children were divided into 4 times according to their weight of 25 ~ 50mg / kg per day. 0.5% lidocaine can be added during intramuscular injection to reduce local pain.
2. Intravenous drip of 4 ~ 6G in adults a day, divided into 2 ~ 4 times; Children are divided into two to four times a day according to their weight of 50 ~ 100mg / kg.
3. For newborns weighing less than 2kg, 25mg / kg shall be given every 12 hours when they are 1-14 days old, and 25mg / kg every 8 hours when they are 15-30 days old; For those weighing more than 2kg, 25mg / kg shall be given every 8 hours when they are 1-14 days old, and 25mg / kg every 6 hours when they are 15-30 days old.
Patients with mild and moderate renal dysfunction do not need to adjust the dose. Patients with severe renal dysfunction should avoid using large dose to prevent central nervous system toxicity.

Adverse reactions
1. Allergic reaction: urticaria and other skin rashes are common, leucopenia, interstitial nephritis, asthma attack and serological reaction can also occur, and severe cases such as anaphylactic shock are occasionally seen; Once anaphylactic shock occurs, it must be rescued on site, keep the airway unblocked, take oxygen, and take adrenaline, glucocorticoid and other treatment measures.
2. Intravenous injection of this product can occasionally produce nausea, vomiting and elevated serum aminotransferase.
3. High dose injection of this product can cause central nervous system toxic reactions such as convulsions.
4. There are reports of hematuria, proteinuria and uremia in infants after using large doses of this product.
5. Individual cases developed agranulocytosis or cholestatic jaundice. Double infection is occasionally seen.
