Ingredient
Proglamine. Chemical name: (±) -5-dipropyl amino-4-benzoyl amino-5-oxyvalic acid.
[Indication] It is often used for gastric and duodenal ulcer, chronic superficial gastritis, bululitis duodenalis.
Usage and dosage Oral administration. Adults: 0.4g each time, 3-4 times a day, 15 minutes before meals for 30 to 60 days. The duration of medication can also be determined according to the results of gastroscopy or X-ray examination.
Children: 10 ~ 15mg/kg each time, 3 times a day, 15 minutes before meals, the course of treatment depends on the condition.
[Adverse reactions] This product has no obvious side effects, occasionally dry mouth, constipation, itching, insomnia, abdominal distension, lower limb distension and other adverse reactions, generally do not need special treatment; Temporary leukopenia and mild elevation of transaminase have been reported.
[Contraindication] Patients with complete obstruction of the gallbladder duct and biliary tract should not be contraindicated.

Pharmacological action This product is an antagonist of gastrin receptor, and its chemical structure is similar to the terminal terminal chemical structure of gastrin (G-17) and cholecystokinin (CCK). The functional group amide-group can compete with gastrin for gastrin receptor on parietal cells, so it can significantly inhibit the secretion of gastric acid and pepsin caused by gastrin, but has no obvious effect on the secretion of gastric acid caused by histamine and vagus nerve stimulation. It can increase the content of hexosamine in gastric mucosa, promote the synthesis of glycoprotein, protect and promote the healing of gastric mucosa, improve the symptoms of peptic ulcer and promote the healing of ulcer. The application of this product in the treatment of peptic ulcer and gastritis does not occur the gastric acid secretion rebound phenomenon, after the termination of treatment can still keep the gastric acid secretion at the normal level for half a year.
