Indications
1. Upper respiratory tract infection: sinusitis, tonsillitis and pharyngitis.
2. Lower respiratory tract infection: acute bronchitis, acute attack of chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, lung abscess and bronchiectasis.
3. Urinary system infection: cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, prostatitis, pelvic inflammation, Neisseria gonorrhoeae urinary tract infection.
4. Skin and soft tissue infection: furuncle, abscess, cellulitis, wound infection, abdominal sepsis, etc.
5. Other infections: otitis media, osteomyelitis, sepsis, peritonitis and postoperative infection.

Usage.
Dosage for treating infection
Adults and children over 12
Common dose: once every 8 hours, 1.2g each time; Severe infection: it can be increased to 1.2g every 6 hours.
Children aged 3 months to 12 years
Common dose: once every 8 hours, 30mg per kilogram of body weight each time *; Severe infection: it can be increased to once every 6 hours, 30mg per kilogram of body weight each time.
Children aged 0-3 months
Perinatal premature infants and full-term newborns were given 30mg per kilogram of body weight every 12 hours; It was then increased to 30 mg per kilogram of body weight every 8 hours.
*The product contains amoxicillin 25mg and clavulanic acid 5mg per 30mg.
Adverse reactionsLike amoxicillin, the adverse reactions of this product are not common, and most of them are mild and transient.
Genitourinary system:
Vaginal itching, ulcers and abnormal secretions may occur.
Very rare: crystalline urine.
Gastrointestinal reactions:
There have been reports of diarrhea, indigestion, nausea and vomiting. There are occasional reports of antibiotic associated colitis (including pseudomembranous colitis and hemorrhagic colitis) and candidiasis. Nausea is not common, which is related to the high dosage of drugs.
Like other antibiotics, the use of antibiotics in children under 2 years old may increase gastrointestinal adverse reactions. However, clinical trials have shown that only 4% of children under the age of 2 are not suitable for this treatment.
Liver function changes:
Like other penicillins or cephalosporins, patients are using β- Lactam antibiotics can have moderate changes in AST and alt, and the significance of these changes has not been determined. Rare hepatitis and cholestatic jaundice.
Adverse liver reactions mostly occur in male or elderly patients, which may be related to prolonged medication. These adverse liver reactions are rare in children.
The symptoms and signs of adverse reactions can occur during the treatment period or shortly after the end of treatment, but sometimes several weeks after drug withdrawal. Changes in liver function are usually reversible. In patients who have suffered from serious potential diseases or are taking drugs that affect liver function, liver adverse reactions can be more serious, but rarely lead to death.
Allergic reaction:
Occasional rashes (urticaria and erythema). Rare erythema multiforme, Stevens Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrosis, bullous exfoliative dermatitis and acute systemic eczema like pustulosis in young children. In case of any of the above symptoms, the drug should be stopped immediately.
With others β- Like lactam antibiotics, serum disease like syndrome, allergic vasculitis and angioneuroedema have been reported.
Very rare interstitial nephritis.
Hematological changes:
With others β- Like lactam drugs, reversible leukopenia (including neutropenia or agranulocytosis), reversible thrombocytopenia, hemolytic anemia and other symptoms are rare.
Central nervous system response:
Rare adverse reactions of the central nervous system are reversible excitement, dizziness, headache and convulsion. Convulsion can occur in patients with renal insufficiency or overdose.
Local reaction: phlebitis may occur occasionally at the injection site.
