Indications

It is used for infections of respiratory system, urinary system, digestive system, gynecology and reproductive organs caused by sensitive strains of Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Enterobacter and Proteus, such as sepsis, suppurative meningitis, peritonitis, osteomyelitis, skin and soft tissue infection and eye, ear, nose and throat infection.

Usage.
Intramuscular injection, intravenous injection or intravenous drip. Intramuscular injection is dissolved with sterilized water for injection before use. Intravenous injection is usually dissolved with 5% glucose sodium chloride injection or 5% - 10% glucose injection. Adults 2-6g a day, severe infection can increase to 8-12g, and the maximum can increase to 15g. For children, the daily weight is 0.1-0.2g/kg, and the severe infection can increase to 0.3g/kg; Intramuscular injection 2-4 times a day, intravenous drip once every 6-8 hours as needed, and the dose depends on the condition. In severe cases, intravenous injection can be once every 4-6 hours.

Adverse reactions
Adverse reactions mainly include: lack of appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, local pain and rash during intramuscular injection, and most of them occur in the process of administration. Most of them are mild and do not affect the continued use of drugs. In severe cases, the above symptoms will be alleviated or disappeared rapidly after withdrawal. A few cases may have elevated serum aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase and transient increase of eosinophils. Neutropenia and hypokalemia are extremely rare. No serious reactions such as renal function change and blood electrolyte disorder were found.
