Generic name sodium p-aminosalicylate enteric-coated tablet
The main ingredient of this product is sodium p-aminosalicylate.
Indications This product is indicated for pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This product is only effective against Mycobacteria, which rapidly develop resistance to this product when used alone, so it must be used in combination with other antituberculous drugs. Streptomycin and isoniazid combined with this product can delay the emergence of resistance of mycobacterium tuberculosis to the former two. This product is not effective against atypical Mycobacteria. It is mainly used as a second-line anti-tuberculosis drug.
Adverse reactions 1. High incidence of allergic reactions: pruritus, rash, drug fever, asthma, eosinophilia. 2. Less incidence: gastric ulcer and bleeding. Others have hematuria, proteinuria, liver function impairment, granulocytopenia.
The contraindications are unclear.
1. Cross allergic reaction. Patients who are allergic to other salicylic acids including methyl salicylate (Holly oil) or other groups containing p-aminophenyl (such as some sulfonamides or dyes) may also be allergic to this product. 2. Interference to diagnosis: false positive of urine sugar determination by copper sulfate method; Urine cholegenin determination of false positive reaction (aminosalicylic acid and Ehrlich reagent reaction, produce orange cloudy or yellow, some according to the principle of the commercial test paper results can also be affected); Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) normal values increased. 3. The following conditions should be used with caution: congestive heart failure, gastric ulcer, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, severe liver function impairment, and severe renal function impairment.

At the same time, the effect of combination therapy on the fetus is still unclear, but it must be selected after weighing the advantages and disadvantages. 2. Aminosalicylic acids can be excreted in milk, and lactating women should choose after weighing the advantages and disadvantages.
Children's medication should be taken strictly according to children's usage and dosage.
Drug interaction 1. There is antagonistic effect between aminobenzoic acid and this product, so they should not be used together. 2. This product can enhance the effect of anticoagulants (coumarin or ninhydrin derivatives), so the dosage of oral anticoagulants should be adjusted appropriately when or after p-aminosalicylic acid is used. 3. When combined with thioisnicotinamide, adverse reactions can be increased. 4. The combination of aminosalicylic acid (AMinosalicylic acid) and aminosalicylic acid (AMinosalicylic acid) can reduce the secretion of aminosalicylic acid (aminosalicylic acid) from renal tubules, resulting in increased blood concentration, prolonged duration and toxic reactions. Therefore, the dose of aminosalicylic acid should be adjusted appropriately when or after the combination of aminosalicylic acid and benzozodone, and the patient should be closely followed. However, most of them do not use sulfonate as an adjunct to aminosalicylic acid therapy. 5. Aminosalicylic acids may affect the absorption of rifampicin, resulting in a lower blood concentration of rifampicin. Patients must be advised to take these two drugs at least 6 hours apart. 6. The combination of aminosalicylate and vitamin B12 may affect the absorption of the latter from the gastrointestinal tract; therefore, patients taking aminosalicylate may have an increased vitamin B12 requirement.
Drug toxicology only has bacteriostatic effect on mycobacterium tuberculosis. This product is a relative of p-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), which inhibits the growth and reproduction of Mycobacterium tuberculosis by competitive inhibition of folic acid synthesis.
Pharmacokinetics were well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Absorption is more rapid than other salicylic acids. After absorption, it is rapidly distributed to various body fluids, reaching a high concentration in pleural fluid, but a low concentration in cerebrospinal fluid. It disperses rapidly to kidney, lung and liver tissues, reaching high concentrations in caseous tissues. Low protein binding rate (15%). The peak blood concentration was reached 1 to 2 hours after oral administration, and the duration was about 4 hours, 45 to 60 minutes in T1/2, and up to 23 hours in patients with renal impairment. This product is metabolized in the liver, more than 50% of which is acetylated to become inactive metabolites. 85% were excreted rapidly by glomerular filtration and tubular secretion within 7-10 hours after administration. 14~33% were excreted in the original form through the kidney, and 50% were metabolites. This product can also be excreted through milk. Whether hemodialysis can clear this product is unknown.
