Adverse reactions
1. Antipyrine can cause leucopenia, agranulocytosis, anemia, allergic dermatitis (rash, skin pruritus, etc.), hepatitis or thrombocytopenia in a few cases. 2. Long term massive medication, especially for those with low renal function, acetaminophen can cause renal colic or acute renal failure (oliguria, uremia) or chronic renal failure (analgesic nephropathy).
