Indication:

1. It is used for short-term treatment of active duodenal ulcer, and most patients are cured within 4 weeks. Some patients need to have another four weeks of treatment.
2. This product can be used for short-term treatment of active benign gastric ulcer (4-8 weeks).
3. The treatment of GERD, erosive esophagitis, and the short-term treatment of erosive esophagitis diagnosed by microscope (4-8 weeks). The effect of more than 8 weeks without clinical study, a few patients did not improve at 8 weeks, and it may be effective to treat with this product for 4 weeks. If the symptoms of erosive esophagitis or gastroesophageal reflux disease recur (such as heartburn), it is recommended to take this product for 4-8 weeks for treatment.
4. The maintenance treatment of erosive esophagitis during the healing period is no more than 12 months.

Adverse reactions

Literature reports: most of the adverse reactions observed in clinical trials were mild and transient; 1.7% of the patients stopped treatment due to drug-related adverse reactions. The following adverse reactions have been reported in clinical trials, with the incidence of less than 1% except for those specially mentioned.
Gastrointestinal reactions: diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and indigestion.
Allergic reactions: rash, urticaria, or itching. It has been reported that patients with cefaclor had serological reaction.
Blood and lymphatic system: polycythemia.
Genitourinary system: vaginal candidiasis, vaginitis.
Central nervous system: headache, dizziness and drowsiness.
Liver: transient elevation of serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP).
Kidney: transient increase of serum urea nitrogen (BUN) or creatinine.
Laboratory tests: transient thrombocytopenia, leucopenia, lymphocytosis, neutropenia and abnormal urine analysis.
In addition to the above observed adverse reactions, the following adverse reactions and laboratory abnormalities were found in patients treated with cefaclor:
Erythema multiforme, fever, allergic reaction (penicillin allergy may be more common), Stevens Johnson syndrome, direct positive Coomb's test and genital pruritus. Pseudomembranous enteritis may occur during or after antibiotic treatment. It has been reported that pseudomembranous enteritis can be caused by the use of a large number of broad-spectrum antibiotics. Allergic reactions can be manifested as isolated symptoms, including angioneurotic edema, weakness, edema (including face and limbs), dyspnea, paresthesia, syncope and vasodilation.
Allergic symptoms lasting for several months are rare.
The following adverse reactions were rare in patients treated with cefaclor
Toxic epidermal necrosis, reversible interstitial nephritis, and liver dysfunction including cholestasis. When cefaclor is combined with warfarin, prothrombin time is prolonged, reversible hyperactivity, neuroticism, insomnia, myotonia, aplastic anemia, agranulocytosis, and hemolytic anemia are observed.
In addition to the above adverse reactions, the following adverse reactions have been reported in patients treated with β - lactams: enteritis, abnormal renal function, toxic nephropathy, cholestatic jaundice, eosinophilia, abnormal liver function test, abnormal renal function test, candidiasis.
Some β - lactam antibiotics can cause epileptic seizures, especially in patients with renal insufficiency. In case of epilepsy related to drug treatment, the treatment should be stopped and anticonvulsant drugs should be given according to the clinical situation.

Taboo:

t is forbidden for allergic patients with any known ingredients in the prescription. Allergic reactions include anaphylactic shock, angioedema, bronchospasm, interstitial nephritis and urticaria.
