Indications

Oxacillin sodium for injection is only suitable for the treatment of penicillinase producing Staphylococcus infection, including sepsis, endocarditis, pneumonia, skin and soft tissue infection. It can also be used for mixed infection caused by Streptococcus pyogenes or pneumococcus and penicillin resistant Staphylococcus.

Usage.
When this product is used for intramuscular injection, add 2.8ml sterile water for injection every 0.5g. Adults were injected intramuscularly with 4 ~ 6G a day and administered four times; Intravenous drip of 4 ~ 8g a day for adults, divided into 2 ~ 4 times. The daily dose of severe infection can be increased to 12g. Children weighing less than 40kg shall be given 12.5 ~ 25mg / kg according to their body weight every 6 hours, and those weighing more than 40kg shall be given adult dose. If the weight of newborn is less than 2kg, the weight is 25mg / kg every 12 hours for those aged 1 ~ 14 days and 25mg / kg every 8 hours for those aged 15 ~ 30 days; If the body weight is more than 2kg, the body weight is 25mg / kg every 8 hours for those aged 1 ~ 14 days, and 25mg / kg every 6 hours for those aged 15 ~ 30 days. Patients with mild and moderate renal dysfunction do not need to adjust the dose. Patients with severe renal dysfunction should avoid using large dose to prevent central nervous system toxicity.

Adverse reactions
1. Allergic reaction: urticaria and other skin rashes are common, while leucopenia, interstitial nephritis, asthma attack and serum disease type reaction are rare; Anaphylactic shock is occasionally seen. Once it occurs, it must be rescued on site, and treatment measures such as keeping the airway unblocked, oxygen inhalation and the use of adrenaline and glucocorticoid must be taken.
2. Intravenous use of this product can occasionally produce nausea, vomiting and elevated serum aminotransferase.
3. High dose intravenous drip of this product can cause central nervous system toxic reactions such as convulsions.
4. It is reported that infants have hematuria, proteinuria and uremia after using large doses of this product.
